CARDIMED project is organizing a webinar focused on Implementing Nature-based Solutions for Water Resilience in the Mediterranean region.

The webinar organized by CARDIMED focuses on the implementation of nature-based solutions for climate resilience in the Mediterranean region. The vision of CARDIMED is to establish a framework and network for enhancing climate resilience in the Mediterranean biogeographical region, by implementing and mainstreaming NBS for climate adaptation and mitigation.

To realise this vision, CARDIMED recognises the importance of integrating innovation across multiple disciplines, structuring the project on four pillars:

  1. Digital technologies,
  2. Social Resilience,
  3. WEFE Nexus,
  4. Nature-based Solutions.

During the event, speakers will focus on water circularity and resilience and how they can be achieved through the four pillars. The CARDIMED lead researchers of each pillar will present the state-of-the-art and the innovations applied at the 9 demonstration sites of the project.
